GREDO Holds Orientation for Youth Transitioning from FLN to TVET
From Foundational Learning to Skills for Life
With support from UNICEF, GREDO’s Education Programme helps adolescents and youth who missed out on education or left school early build a pathway towards a better future. Through Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) lessons, participants develop essential reading, writing, and numeracy skills that prepare them for further learning and everyday life.
Building on this foundation, GREDO supports their enrolment in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions across Juba. Participants pursue training in Electrical Installation, Plumbing, Welding, Masonry, Computer Literacy, Tailoring, Auto Mechanics, and Catering. These courses equip them with practical skills to pursue employment, start small businesses, and earn a living, strengthening their self-reliance and ability to contribute to their communities.
